Comprising a Life

The Bonsai, Travels and Haiku of Vaughn Banting

Honoured friends

Throughout my life the people beyond family who have befriended me and those who I have befriended I have always valued above money or possessions. Without you my life's journey would have been pointless and bleak.  Some of you I see quite frequently others less so but I am always pleasantly surprised when I see one of you again after a long interlude how easy it is to pick right up where we left off.  Friends like you have kept me from despair when life's challenges have threatened to break my spirit.  You have been the salt and pepper of my life, providing it with diversity and the curves and hills for my sheer enjoyment that without you would surely have made it drab and dull.
