Comprising a Life

The Bonsai, Travels and Haiku of Vaughn Banting

Attached to the Rangers guarding helicopters while my wound continued to heal. Loading on trucks to take us to the perimeter guard posts

View of the helicopters we were guarding

Pulling guard from the top of a short tower even though I could hardly climb up to it

This was a boring job. The sappers would get in anyway if they wanted to, to set their satchel charges and still be back out through the wire before we could react to the burning choppers inside our perimeter.

I can't remember who this was now who posed with me for this timed photo.
