Comprising a Life

Early in my trip I was stopped by a reporter from a small-town paper. This led to short jobs with three different newspapers durring my treck (to earn money for the food I was consuming)and my being interviewed by a lot of editors. Each time I would ask them to send a copy of the article to my home address so I ended up with a lot of clippings.

The trip having served as a last gulp of freedum before answering the date on my draft notice, I thought it would be interesting now, having survived both the trip and Vietnam, to compile these clippings linked with articles about Vietnam taken from the same newspaper.

At the end of my trip I got a job at a restaurant for the summer and after seeing first snow, sold my bicycle and flew home to meet the draft.
